BENEFITS OF CANNABIS IN THE BEDROOM

Happy 420!

Even though the official 420 is not until April, marijuana is a celebration all year round.

Cannabis, CBD, hemp… my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Today we are indulging in why these lovely greens are beneficial to our daily routines along with our sexual beings.

WHY CANNABIS?

If you are someone who dabbles with smoking the devils lettuce, I am sure you already feel educated on why weed has helpful effects boosting your sex drive.

Let’s get serious here. I’ve been studying the effects of marijuana and how it has more pro’s than con’s for quite awhile, I am someone who is definitely an advocate when it comes to this topic. I speak from my own experience, and love to gather info from my peers around me.

THE PHYSICAL FACTS

Cannabis is a vasodilator, which means it helps open blood vessels and encourages blood flow to the most sensitive areas of our bodies. The tissue of the vulva is also a perfect source when it comes to absorbing cannabis. When it comes to sex, these are a huge physical bonus that cannabis has to offer for our vulvas.

Rumor has it, weed is even a little more beneficial for women especially.

Consuming gummies, smoking a joint, or even using a topical, (which do not get you high!) spark your natural lubrication to help jump start and produce even more wetness. That is why weed is a win for women in a nutshell. BONUS LADIES. I did not know this fact until about a few months ago!

I read this amazing magazine titled, Women and Weed that helped me learn that. I found it in my local CVS, I’m really glad I picked her up, she’s a cute pool side read.

CANNABIS ON YOUR MENTAL

So now we now know that cannabis helps get us more wet and bring more blood flow to our lady parts… what’s going on inside our head?

From past personal conversations, I have learned there are two types of people.

There is Person A, “I love weed! It makes me feel relaxed and less anxious.”

And then there is Person B, “NOPE! Weed is not for me. I get anxious AF and think the world is folding in.”

This is truly okay. Marijuana is simply not for everyone. Sometimes it’s a past smoke sesh that went wrong, maybe you got busted and never want to smoke again, or maybe you just aren’t a smoking gal.

Not here to steer you, just here to enlighten!

Generally speaking, marijuana has an effect on our brains that release oxytocin and anandamide, aka our happy hormones. When you bring sex into this, releasing these hormones at the same time will allow your body to feel more connected with your partner. If cannabis releases your anxiety normally, you understand the feeling already of the release, relaxation, and fixation of wanting to meet your sexual needs.

All in all its simply a booster! If getting high not your thing, you can always resort to topicals, which do not get you high but still contain hemp oils that create the tingly sensations.

I pulled some of the hottest products from our site to share with ya’ll some pointers on where to get started, or what products you can add to your arsenal!
