Product Review: California Dreaming: Pasadena Player
I was excited to try the California Dreaming: Pasadena Player Rabbit Vibrator because of the flickering action. And the packaging seemed young, playful and inviting.

First Impressions:
The packaging is cute and eye catching, very young and inviting with the California theme. It has a clear plastic cover that showcases the toy. I was excited to try this one because of the flickering teaser. It was different from the traditional rabbit style and I was eager to see how it felt. The shaft didn’t appear too large and was smaller in the middle.
The Functions:
The California Dreaming Pasadena Player is a ribbit style vibrator, but instead of the traditional two bunny ears, the is one little nub covered by an almost tulip shape. You press and hold the bottom button to turn on the clit stimulator. Then press again to cycle through each function. 3 different speeds and 7 additional functions. You press and hold the middle button to turn on the shaft rotation. 3 Speeds on that one. Then press the top button to turn it off. It is USB rechargeable with up to a 2.5 hour run time. It is totally waterproof for shower or bath fun. 100% silicone and body safe.
The Test:
I lubed him up and stuck him in there. (Water-based lube only, silicone lube destroys silicone toys) I started with the flickering lounge and that is a precise vibrating that I really loved. I didn’t really need to turn on the rotating shaft because the flickering was so good! I went ahead and turned on the shaft and that was a nice feeling but nothing crazy. It added to the overall experience and because of it I felt like I didn’t need any additional thrusting. It is a little confusing to turn off when you are in the moment. There is no turning the functions down without cycling through all of them again. So a speedy press of the top button is an instant shutoff. When you turn it back on it remembers what function you last used which is a cool feature.
Overall:
So, this is definitely a winner. The flickering alone is enough to buy this toy. Strong vibrations that is better than most rabbits. The shaft is slightly big at the top, so lube for me was necessary. But once it is in it was in it fit my anatomy nicely. Noise rating was decent. It wasn’t too crazy loud once it was in, but its not the quietest toy. I don’t think you would be able to hear in in another room, but you could probably hear it in the same bed. I think this is a great toy to add to any collection or for someone that is looking for something new.
