Why Should I Use Lube?

I recently had a conversation with a close gal pal. She had told me word for word, “I am Niagara Falls. I never use lube.”

I feel that I hear this said pretty often. You assume that you don’t need to add lube in just because you are perfectly capable of becoming wet yourself. That is great! For some, they may not be as lucky as you. Maybe something is preventing them from being able to produce the wetness, or the “shee-men”, aka the lady semen.

Now if you are someone who is thinking the same thing saying, “yeah I really don’t need it.” I want to tickle your brain a bit and let you know why you should use lube.

PREVENTING DISCOMFORT

I’m sure we know after a few rounds of sex we begin to lose our source of wetness a bit. It is completely natural for your vagina to start to dry up after some time with sex. Our natural lubrication is gods work handed to us on a silver platter. Like most, there are many different reasons why we tend to dry up after some time. This could be your stress levels, the medications you take daily, when your menstrual cycle is coming, which leads to hormone levels fluctuating.

While we let our body do it’s thing, it’s nice to give a little helping hand sometimes. That’s when the lube comes in. Feel like you are starting to dry up a bit? All you need is a dime sized amount to re-up on the pleasure.

LUBE IS UNIVERSAL

Everybody AND their mother’s can use lubrication. The sweet part about this is theres lubricants that specifically focus on a vagina’s pH balance. While this is super beneficial for vulva owners, there is no harm to the penis to use this formula as well. For me, the icing on the cake.

It is almost rewarding to use a lube that also helps your pH down there. You can steer clear of any lubes that may cause discomfort, or ones that may not suit you best. Of course, the lubricants on our site are all safe, being paraben and glycerin free.

PERFECT FOR ANAL

I rarely hear others say that they can successfully “raw-dog” anal without any lubrication. Truth be told, your anus is not self lubricating. With that bit of info, investing in a lube shooter should be on the top of your list for next time.

For those looking for a really great anal lube, of course I’ll link some in here. When shopping for lubes, look for an anal glide. The consistency of these glides are going to be silicone based, meaning it won’t absorb into your body like water based do. The glide will last you longer, leaving you one-two applications throughout sex.

Not that applying water based lube constantly is a bad thing, but if you have the chance to use a silicone based lube, I would highly recommend.

SAFE SEX IS THE BEST SEX

Considering that lube is known to slow down friction being built up, you are less likely to feel any sort of burning sensations, let alone injuries.

Latex condoms are compatible with water and silicone based, so adding the glide to the condom is also likely to not wear and tear during sex! Condoms breaking during sex always feels like a scenario that isn’t likely to happen, but trust me… it does.

All in all, finding the perfect lube for you will truly benefit in the end. The outcome? More pleasure? Better orgasms? More wetness? I don’t see the down side here. HOWEVER, if you are someone who is pregnant or is prone to allergic reactions, I would consult with a doctor first, we wouldn’t want anything bad to happen down there! <3
